Our story

We empower individuals, businesses, and communities to achieve more, changing lives and creating better futures for the thousands of people we work with each year. 

Founded in 1995, our organisation began as part of Nottingham and Nottinghamshire local authority's careers service, primarily focussed on guidance in schools. In the early 2000's we became part of the national Connexions initiative, expanding our services to offer holistic support that not only helped people with careers advice but also addressed personal development and well-being. 

Over the years, as funding streams evolved, we adapted by diversifying our services to better meet the needs of the community. Today, our core focus has shifted towards offering a targeted range of employment support and training programmes. These services are designed to help people of all backgrounds gain the skills, confidence and qualifications they need to enter or re-enter the workforce. Whether it's through tailored one-on-one coaching, specialised training courses or job placement assistance, we remain committed to empowering people to achieve long-term career success.
