Are you a young person looking to get started in a hands-on career in Mansfield, Ashfield, and the surrounding areas?
An apprenticeship or technical qualification could be the perfect path for you!
Join us for a free event at Mansfield Town Football Club on Wednesday 25th June for the chance to learn more about real opportunities in your local community and talk directly to local employers from industries such as engineering, construction and manufacturing.
You’ll also be able to explore education opportunities and talk to local training providers about how to access qualifications to help you on your journey.
This is a community event created for 15 – 24 year olds and their families to be able to get together, hear from the experts, and ask any burning questions. We'll have hot food available and you’ll also be able to chat with local employers in a relaxed setting.
This is a fantastic opportunity to meet with key employers and training providers in your community and learn more about the skills they’re looking for and how you (or the young people you care for) can get started in a hands-on career that benefits the local economy.

Book your space here!5:30pm – Arrival - say hello to our team, get yourself a drink and get settled. If you’re driving, there’s free parking available, otherwise we’re only a short walk from Mansfield centre and the train station
6pm – Introduction – we'll give you an overview of who Futures are, what apprenticeships and technical education can offer, and what you can expect from the rest of the event
6:30pm – Q&A – you'll have the chance to ask any questions you’ve got so far
7pm – Dinner – there’s no need to rush home to put the oven on because we’ll be serving hot pies to everyone who attends, free of charge
7:30pm – Time to Chat – for the rest of the evening, feel free to take a look around the stands and chat to employers about their industries and upcoming opportunities
